Jason Melo is a licensed contractor and the owner of Melo Excavation.

In 2018, Jason started Melo Excavation part-time, with the hope of eventually turning it into a full-time business. His passion and love for running equipment started when he was just a kid, growing up on a dairy farm. He learned early, not to be afraid of getting dirty. Jason began doing construction straight out of high school (22 years ago) and hasn’t stopped working toward his passion since. He takes pride in his work and is known as one of Baker City’s best contractors; one who is dedicated, trustworthy, and reasonable. Not many small businesses can survive and thrive off word of mouth alone, but Melo Excavation has. For that, Jason is beyond grateful and can’t wait to bring his excavation and contracting services to more of Baker County.
